Mann Creek Bridge Construction and Road Closure

The Payette National Forest will be constructing two road bridges to replace deteriorated double culverts on Mann Creek Road (FSR #009). This construction will close the upper portion of Mann Creek Road to traffic from June 2-20, 2025. However, construction dates may change – watch for updates. Mann Creek Road will be reopened as soon as construction progress allows. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. 

The closed portion of Mann Creek Road lies north of its junction with Fourth of July Creek Road (FSR #024), which will remain open. This will close vehicle access to the area of the Mann Creek drainage that includes Spring Creek, Paradise, and Justrite Campgrounds and Sturgill Fire Lookout. Alternative access to the area is available for ATVs and UTVs via existing trails but no services will be provided at these sites.
