Burgdorf Campground

Forested campground adjacent to open meadows at an elevation of 6,250'. Three sites are situated among the trees, each outfitted with a picnic table and fire ring. There is typically a volunteer camp host on site and potable water available June - September.

All sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and camping is limited to an 14 day stay.  There are no hookups or trash receptacles. Please pack out your trash. 

This area is a hub for recreation. Several trails depart from the Burgdorf Campground: Nethker Creek Trail #143, Jeanette Creek Trail #140, Burgdorf-1 Trail #175, Burgdorf-2 Trail #176.

The nearby Burgdorf Hot Springs is privately owned, featuring three developed pools with sandy bottoms.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $10/night.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY.

Dogs are welcome in all campgrounds, picnic areas, and on trails. We recommend you keep your dog on a leash. Never leave them unattended. Dogs allowed to roam freely can frighten or injure wildlife, disturb other forest visitors, and create impacts to natural resources.

Directions

Travel approximately 30 miles north of McCall on the paved Warren Wagon Road (21).  Turn left on gravel Forest Road #246 and watch for the campground on your left after two additional miles.
