Lake Fork Trailhead

From the Lake Fork Trailhead, the East Fork Lake Fork Creek Trail (#104) initially heads south, paralleling the creek. The route is rolling with only minor elevation gain for the first five miles. It features huckleberries (in season), large erratic boulders, and a handful of hidden fishing holes. It's a great place to introduce kids to hiking. The first five miles are also friendly for mountain biking ridden as an out-and-back.

Around mile five continuing north requires a major stream crossing (shin to knee depth) and the trail starts to climb quickly toward Snowslide Summit and eventually Snowslide Lake.

This is a designated non-motorized trail.
