Little Weiser River Area, Council Ranger District
From Highway 95 south of the town of Council, turn east on Indian Valley Road. Continue onto Forest Service Road #206 and travel approximately 16 miles to this area.
Little Weiser River Trail #515 follows the river’s course, with a trailhead located along FSR #206.

Campground infrastructure and surrounding vegetation completely burned in the Lava Fire (2024). The site is expected to be closed through 2026.
