No Business Lookout and Indian Mountain Lookout

The eastern half of the Council Ranger District offers several unique trips including No Business Lookout, south to White Licks Hot Springs and down to Indian Mountain Lookout. The roads along the ridges near the lookouts offer spectacular vistas of Long Valley, Weiser River Valley and Indian Valley.

There are several ways to explore this area including taking Forest Road #165 from Highway 95 to Forest Road #172/165, and then on to Forest Road #185 to No Business Lookout. To continue south from No Business, take Forest Road #185 back to Forest Road #245 to Forest Road #193/186. At the junction of Forest Roads #186 and #206 you may travel west to Cabin Creek Campground or continue on Forest Road #206 to Indian Mountain Lookout Trailhead. At the junction of Forest Roads #206 and #326 you may chose to take Forest Road #326 to Cascade Reservoir or take Forest Road #206 back to Indian Valley and Highway 95.
