Dry Canyon Trail #077

Dry Canyon Trail is steep and runs through narrow canyon to the top of Hogsback Ridge. At the top, the hiker is treated to a breathtaking view of Mt. Timpanogos and surrounding mountains. Gabmel Oak, aspen, sagebrush, and a variety of wildflowers grow abundantly.

Getting There

Directions

From I-15 take Orem 800 North Exit 272. Follow 800 North to the mouth of Provo Canyon veering to the left, where you tie into Highway 189 in Provo Canyon. It is approximately 22 miles from the mouth of Provo Canyon to Heber. Turn right at the junction of Highways 189 and 40. Follow Highway 40 up Daniels Canyon for approximately 6.5 miles. The trailhead is located on the left hand side at the upper end of Forest Service Road #094. Parking is available along Highway 40.
