Schedule of Proposed Actions (SOPA) List
The SOPA contains a list of projects that will begin or are currently undergoing environmental analysis under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The SOPA is updated at least quarterly and is intended to provide early informal notice of projects so that you have the opportunity to become involved in the planning process. The list of projects on the SOPA includes a brief project description, pertinent timelines, and a contact person. Joining this mailing list will result in automatic notifications of the quarterly SOPA report for the Eldorado National Forest. This mailing list is specific to environmental planning under NEPA.
INTERESTED IN ANOTHER FOREST?
The easiest and most expedient method to find Forest Service information about other National Forests, is to use our "Find a Forest or Grassland" feature (www.fs.usda.gov). Once you find the forest/grassland of your choice you may request specific information by contacting the forest/grassland directly. You may also want to try www.recreation.gov for more information about recreational opportunities on public lands.
