Day use only: open sunrise to sunset

All entry into the Desolation Wilderness requires a Wilderness Permit

Campfires are NOT allowed anywhere in the Desolation Wilderness. The Campfire permit covers your camp stove and lanterns and must be carried to use an “on and off” switch style gas camp stove.

$10 Day Use Fee for parking
