Blackrock Trailhead

The Blackrock Trailhead is a beautiful and easily accessible gateway into the Golden Trout Wilderness. This trailhead is used for camping, hiking, and staging for backpacking trips in the wilderness. Horse corrals are available for any stock being utilized in the area.

 

General Information

May - November

Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Permits are available at your local Ranger Station or online at readyforwildfire.org.

Wilderness permits are required for overnight stays in the Golden Trout Wilderness.

Tread Lightly-Please stay on the trail and do not cut switchbacks. Be aware of human impact when it comes to erosion of trails. Pack out what you pack in. Leave No Trace

 

No fees are required for this site
