Multnomah Falls Lodge
The Visitor Center, lodge restaurant, restrooms and gift shop are currently open to the public.
Built in 1925, the Lodge is on the National Register of Historic Places. Within its structure, it embodies every type of rock found in the Columbia River Gorge. Bring binoculars to get a better view of these iconic falls and enjoy the sound of rushing water during the winter flow. Look for wildlife along Multnomah Creek, discover books and other collectibles and souvenirs in the gift shop. Come and enjoy one of the gorge's most treasured destinations.
The U.S Forest Service Visitor Center, snack bar and gift shop are located on the lower level of the lodge and a restaurant is located on the second level. You can access the restaurant by stairs or an elevator.
Multnomah Falls Lodge & Restaurant, the lower viewing platform & nearby trails are open to visitors. This is a great opportunity to visit this historic site following the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire that impacted this area. Learn more at: Eagle Creek Fire & response.

Getting There
Directions
From Portland, OR: Travel east on I-84 to Exit #31, Multnomah Falls. Park and walk south, underneath the interstate and railroad tracks to the Lodge and Visitor Center.
Car Free options: The Columbia Gorge Express offers daily bus service between the Gateway Transit Center in Portland, Troutdale, Multnomah Falls, Cascade Locks and Hood River, Oregon. Summer options include Sasquatch Shuttle based in Bridal Veil, Oregon and the Waterfall Trolley based in Corbett, Oregon.
Accessibility: There is accessible parking available. A path leading to the Visitor Center from the parking lot is paved. There are some slight inclines along the path from the parking lot to the visitor center and around the falls viewing area.
Limited accessible parking is also available in front of the lodge along the Historic Columbia River Highway.
