Provides access to: Heliotrope Ridge Trail 677. This trail enters Mt. Baker Wilderness.

Open 24 hours/day

Recreation Passes honored for day use fee payment: Digital Passes, Northwest Forest Pass, and Interagency Recreation Passes. Washington State Discover Pass is not valid at US Fee Sites. 

Wilderness regulations apply within Mt. Baker Wilderness.

Day Use:
$5 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual

Day use fee payment options: Scan & Pay on-site or display a valid Recreation Pass.  *Suggestion: Download the recreation.gov app before your trip to have the ability to scan & pay digitally on-site.

Hours: This U.S. Department of Agriculture office is currently closed due to the lapse in Federal Government funding. The office will reopen once Congress restores funding.

Directions

From the Glacier Public Service Center in Glacier, Washington travel east on the Mt. Baker Highway 542 for approximately 1 mile to Glacier Creek Road (Forest Service road 39). Turn right onto Forest Service road 39 and travel 8 miles. The trailhead and parking area are located on the left side of the road.
