Barlow Point Trail 709

Begin at the former site of the Barlow Pass Guard Station and at 0.3 miles encounter a junction. The left branch leads to the Old Government Trail 733. The Barlow Point Trail begins its ascent skirting the foot of a large outcrop of rock. A series of switchbacks lead to the crest of the ridge, which burned in the Buck Creek fire early in the 1900s. At 1.2 miles reach the summit at the former site of the Barlow Point Fire Lookout, with views of the South Fork Sauk and South Fork Stillaguamish valleys.

Carry drinking water, none is available along this trail.

Suitable for families.
