Cool Creek Trailhead
The small Cool Creek trailhead accesses Cool Creek Trail which leads up Hunchback Mountain in the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. The trail is primarily forested with a few breaks allowing views of Mt Hood, particularly near the southern end of the trail. Space for up to 10 small vehicles. Directions
From Portland, OR - follow US Hwy 26 19 miles east of Sandy and turn right (southeast), on Still Creek Road (Forest Road 2612). Follow Forest Road 2612 for 1.9 mile. The trailhead is located on the right soon after crossing Cool Creek (.4 mile after the pavement ends). Parking is on the road shoulder.
