Dry Fir/ Veda Lake Trailhead

Provides access to: Dry Fir Trail #674A and Veda Lake Trail #673. Both trails are lightly used and provide lovely views at high points.

Getting There
Directions
To reach the northern end from Portland, follow US Hwy 26 for 29.5 miles east of Sandy. Turn right (south) on Still Creek Campground Road (Forest Road 2650). Drive through the campground for 1.1 mile. Turn right at E Chimney Rock Road and continue 0.5 mile to a four way junction. Continue (right turn ) onto Sherar Burn Road (Forest Road 2613) and travel 3.6 miles to the parking lot on the leftt (south) side of the road. The trailhead is located on the south side of the road.
To reach the southern end from Portland, follow US Hwy 26 for 30.7 miles to Forest Road 2656 (Trillium Lake exit). Turn right and travel 1.8 miles. Turn left at Trillium Lake Road (NOT 2656 Loop, go further) and travel 1.1 miles. Take right fork to stay on Trillium Lake Road (Forest Road 2656-903) and travel 2.1 to the end of the road and the parking area (also the south trailhead for #673 Veda Lake).
