Tilly Jane Campground & Day Use
This campground is located on Tilly Jane Creek near the border of Mount Hood Wilderness. Hiking trails are accessible from the campground, including Tilly Jane Trail #600 A.
This campground has NO potable water- bring plenty of water. Campground is wheelchair accessible.
Forest Road 3512 is very rough and the summer season for this high elevation site is short.

- Wilderness permits are required on Cloud Cap & Tilly Jane Trails. Permits are free and self-issued at the Climbers' Registration box on the Tilly Jane Trail.
- This trail heads towards Timberline Trail. Hike out of the campground past the guard station over Tilly Jane Creek past the amphitheater. Follow the trail signs; the permit box is just up the trail a few yards.
- Camping: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age or Golden Access.
- Day use: The Northwest Forest Pass may be used as a form of fee payment. Learn more about which day use sites accept recreation passes here.
Wilderness restrictions apply within Mount Hood Wilderness.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $20/night.
Additional Vehicle: $10/night.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY.

Directions
From Hood River, travel south on Highway 35 approximately 1.5 miles past the forest boundary to Forest Road 3510. Follow 3510 northwest, then southwest, to Forest Road 3512. Follow 3512 west as it winds around several miles to the campground.
