Dickey Lake Trail #549

This trail is within Bull of the Woods Wilderness. The trail connects at Pansy Lake Trail #551 and Bull Of the Woods Trail #550. This provides a loop opportunity when combined with Mother Lode Trail #558.

Be extra careful in burned areas! Watch out for burned trees, eroded slopes, mudslides, missing trails, or possible flash floods.

Directions

From Estacada: Travel on Hwy 224 ~30.5 miles & continue straight on Forest Road 46. After 3.7 miles turn right on Forest Road 63. Travel 5.7 miles and turn right onto Forest Road 6340. Travel 7.8 miles and you will come to a fork in the road (6340 and 6341). Take the right fork (6341) and follow it for ~3.2 miles until you come to the trailhead parking area on the right (south) side of the road (before road turns to dirt). This popular trailhead has a large parking area.
