Big Creek Trailhead

Picnic shelter is available with 6 tables and stoves at Big Creek Trailhead & Picnic area within Big Creek Campground.

Provides access to:

  • Big Creek Campground Trail #827 - a gentle 1-mile loop around Big Creek Campground.
  • Upper Big Creek Loop #827.1 - a 4-mile trail that is generally steep. Features a loop with benches at stream crossings and old growth and connects to Mt Ellinor Connector Trail #827.2.

Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment.

Day Use: $5/vehicle/day.
Northwest Forest Passes are Honored: $30/annual.

Directions

From Hoodsport, WA, turn west off of Highway 101 onto State Route 119. Drive 9 miles to the junction with Forest Service Road 24. Turn left and travel 100 yards. The entrance to Big Creek Campground is on the right side of the road.
