Gold Beach Ranger District

Gold Beach Ranger District includes a diverse landscape that includes the Wild and Scenic Lower Rogue River (one of the first eight rivers to be designated in 1968), the Redwood Nature Trail, where visitors will find redwoods in their northernmost reaches, and the western portion of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. It is a wild and rugged landscape, with an office directly on Oregon's rugged and beautiful coastline--stop in and check out the selection of trail maps and other recreation resources!

General Information

Gold Beach Ranger District encompasses the southwestern portion of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, and is rugged in its diverse landscapes. It includes the Wild and Scenic Lower Rogue River, the western portion of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness, and redwoods growing in their northernmost locations.
