Grayback Campground
This campground is located in a beautiful forested setting, with the Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve located approximately 5 miles further up the road. Of the 39 sites, several are located along Sucker Creek, providing cool waters to jump in or just soak your feet in on hot summer days. Revel in the amazing biodiversity that is so unique to the Illinois Valley by venturing out on the 1-mile, family-friendly Grayback Interpretive Trail that leads to Grayback Creek and around the historical Civilian Conservation Corps camp at the Cedar Guard Station.
There is a pleasant day use area with 10 sites, a small amphitheater, and a large picnic area, complete with shelters and a fireplace.

This site is fully cashless. Visitors will need to pay on-site using the Scan and Pay feature of the Recreation.gov app. Download the Recreation.gov app and add a valid payment method before heading out on your adventure.

- Campfires in developed fire pits only, and adhering to current fire restrictions.
- Fireworks are prohibited at all times.
- OHV/ATV use is prohibited in the campground.
- Maximum length of stay: 14 days
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $15 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per night
Dogs are welcome in the campground. All pets must be kept on a leash, and owners are required to clean up pet waste.

From Cave Junction, OR, travel 12 miles east along Oregon State Highway 46 (Oregon Caves Highway).
Travel Considerations
Highway 46 becomes more narrow between the campground and Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve. Drive with caution.
