Boggy Hollow Longleaf Pine Management Project
The U.S. Forest Service proposes to implement forest management actions in the Boggy Hollow Project Area to restore and maintain desired conditions of fire-maintained longleaf pine forest and to improve habitat for red-cockaded woodpeckers and other featured species that are dependent on these conditions. The Boggy Hollow Longleaf Pine Management Project is designed to implement the Revised Land and Resource Management Plan for National Forests in Alabama (2004).

The Boggy Hollow Project Area is located in Covington County, Alabama, west of Wing, Alabama, and north and south of County Road 4. It is composed of compartments 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, and 59.
