Watauga Ranger Station
The Watauga Ranger Station can provide additional visitor information, and has an outlet that sells maps, books, passes, and permits.
Current Conditions
In response to the widespread damage caused by Hurricane Helene, the Unaka and Watauga Ranger Districts remain closed until hazardous conditions improve and assessments can be completed.

The Watauga Ranger Station is open Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
