Closure Orders

Forest Service closure orders are an important management tool to protect public safety, prevent resource damage, preserve ecologically sensitive landscapes, and safeguard wildlife populations.  These orders can also prohibit recreational activities, impose fire restrictions, and limit access. Please check the National Forest you are considering visiting to see if any special orders have been implemented and check the restrictions specifications.
