General Information

The Dingaling Sale is located within Compartments 7019 and 7020 in western Giles County, Virginia near No Business Creek. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Eastern Divide Ranger District, 110 Southpark Drive, Blacksburg, VA 24060 before or at the time of public bid opening at 9:00 AM local time on 09/15/2025 for an estimated volume of 201 CCF of Mixed Hardwoods sawtimber, 9 CCF of Mixed Pine sawtimber, 1443 CCF of Mixed Oak sawtimber, 867 CCF of Pulpwood- Combined pulpwood, and 717 CCF of Pulpwood- Combined non-saw marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Eastern Divide Ranger District, 110 Southpark   Drive, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
