Boles Field

Boles Field is located on the northern Sabine National Forest, about 8 miles east of Shelbyville, Texas. The area centers around a cemetery for fox hounds established at the turn of the century. Boles Field offers camping with electric hookups and picnicking. The area is open all year. No reservation is needed for camping and there is a self service fee station at the entrance.

Quiet time 10:00 pm- 6:00 am

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $6 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $3 per vehicle per night

Day Use Fee- No charge

CAMPING - All year. $6.00 per campsite per night (includes day-use fee for one vehicle).

AMPHITHEATER and SHELTER - $25.00 per day plus service fee.
Call 1-877-444-6777 for amphitheater or shelter reservations or online at www.recreation.gov. Reservations for the shelter should be made early as the area is popular with many groups.
