Lakeview Campground

Lakeview Campground, located on the 185,000- acre Toledo Bend Reservoir and is maintained and operated by the Sabine River Authority of Texas. 

The SRA-TX operates and maintains additional recreation areas in Sabine National Forest within the Toledo Bend Project under a special use permit with the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas. For more information 409-565-2273

The area offers camping, fishing and picnicking.

 

General Information

  • Camping trailer: 10 sites; RVs to 24 feet; no electric hookups
  • Tent camping: Tent pads at most sites
  • Toilets: Portable toilets are available within a short distance of each camping site

     

CAMPING - $3.00 per campsite per night.

DAY-USE FEE - $2.00 per vehicle, per day.

Directions

From Pineland follow FM 2426 east for 10 miles; turn right (south) on Highway 87 for 4 miles; turn left (east) on FM 2928 for 3.5 miles to end of paved road; follow signs to Lakeview (approximately 4 miles).
