Bunker Area Derecho Fuels
A 2009 storm event caused catastrophic damage to thousands of acres of timber creating extreme hazardous fuel loading in the Bunker Wildland Urban Interface (WUI). Fuel loads will be reduced through salvage timber sales, ridgetop fuel breaks, and prescribed burning.
