Forest Service Road 825 closed to all traffic

Forest Service Road 825 in the Johnson Creek area in Jackson County, beyond the picnic shelter, is temporarily closed to all traffic- foot, horse or vehicular. 

The Gum Ridge Repeater site in the Johnson Creek area sustained some damage during the last wave of storms that went through the area. A few of the radio tower guide wires had tree limbs fall on them, causing the wires to break. The area is flagged off to keep people out of the area. For your safety, we ask that you stay away from the area until maintenance team can get out there to repair the tower
