The Kawishiwi Ranger District of the Superior National Forest is proposing to add a campsite on Slim Lake which is located in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Slim Lake is located near the North Arm of Burntside Lake, North of Ely, MN. Access is via the Echo Trail and the North Arm Trail.
