Toimi Off Highway Vehicle Area
Stretching from Whiteface Reservoir to near the town of Silver Bay, the Toimi OHV Area provides ample riding opportunities. Many designated roads are accessible from the Superior National Forest Scenic Byway running east and west through the area.
Use the Motor Vehicle Use Map for the Toimi Area to find routes that are designated for your particular type of off highway vehicle.

OHVs must follow Minnesota Department of Natural Resources licensing requirements.
When visiting, please remember
- OHV use is only allowed on designated roads shown on the Motor Vehicle Use Map.
- follow all posted speed limits.

Hours: April 28 – September 30, Wednesday - Sunday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, providing full services, open federal holidays when they land on a Wednesday through Sunday. Closed for all other federal holidays.
