Abstract:

This data publication includes raw data from 13 sites across the southeastern United States where the efficacy of inflatable scarecrows in reducing new world vulture human-wildlife conflict was tested. Data were collected from September 2021 to July 2023. Data includes responses of vultures to inflatable scarecrow treatment phases as well as their use/damage of vehicles at 2 sites.
