Abstract:
These data include rates of bedload transport and discharge measured at eight sites on the Fraser Experimental Forest, Colorado during snowmelt runoff periods between 1992 and 1997. Samples were collected intermittently using a hand-held Helley-Smith sampler with a 3 x 3 inch opening, 2.54 expansion ratio, and 0.25 millimeter mesh bag. Between 100 and 200 samples were collected at each site. Size fractions (full phi) are available for most samples. Data on discharge and hydraulic geometry at the time samples were collected are provided. The grain size distribution of the channel bed is also included.
