- Abstract:
- This data publication includes a sample of the frequency and foliar cover of Ventenata dubia (ventenata) in June and July 2008, 2016, and 2018 in the Zumwalt Prairie Preserve in northeastern Oregon. In addition to these measures, the density of ventenata was also recorded in 2016 and 2018. These data describe the trend in ventenata abundance through time under differing treatments of grazing and fire. This project was completed as a component of a study examining the invasion of ventenata in the Blue Mountains Ecoregion (EPA Level III; https://www.epa.gov/eco-research/level-iii-and-iv-ecoregions-continental-united-states).
