Abstract:
This material is a scanned collection of 35 millimeter (mm) slides and prints collected by staff of the USDA Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research Station, Juneau Forestry Sciences Laboratory (Juneau FSL). Slides and prints include images of ongoing research and natural resources related work throughout Alaska and several locations in the Pacific Northwest from the 1950s to 1990s. Images are of landscapes, natural resources and forest research, management activities, industry, transportation, communities and some of the people involved in the activities. Documentation such as date, description, location, people, keywords, and more is provided for each image, as available. Descriptive information about each image is provided as noted by the photographer on the original media and additional information, where possible, is also provided by current project leaders.
