- Abstract:
- These data were collected for the U.S. Forest Service to monitor topographic changes following the removal of the Lake George Diversion Dam at the mouth of Eleven Mile Canyon in Colorado. Data were collected by Northern Arizona University using a Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) unit and are registered to real time kinematic (RTK) global positioning system (GPS) data. They are published here as digital elevation model (DEM) rasters representing the surface elevation before dam removal (2023), after dam removal (2025), and a raster representing topographic changes between surveys detected in meters.
