Abstract:
The simulation experiment used the Landscape Disturbance and Succession (LANDIS-II) model. The purpose of the model simulations was to quantify the effects of wildfire probability on successional development following the 2011 Las Conchas Fire in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. The model scenarios included wildfire probabilities based on contemporary fire records (low probability), historic fire records (high probability), and an average of the two (medium probability). Simulations were run for 50 years using distributions of contemporary climate data. Outputs for this model are in csv and raster format.
