Abstract:
This dataset set includes 2023 terrestrial laser scan (TLS) data collected in New England using a Leica BLK360 Gen1 (G1) scanner. The study focused on two areas in the northeastern USA: the Penobscot Experimental Forest (PEF) in central Maine and Zealand (ZEL) in northern New Hampshire that provide a broad range of canopy structures and compositions with minimal topographic variation. The dataset includes PTX-formatted point cloud data and JPG-formatted 360 degree panoramic RGB images.
