Passes and Permits
There is no single Arizona National Scenic Trail pass. The AZNST passes through multiple land management agencies, and each agency facilitates their own passes and permits. AZNST recreators are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate pass or permit for the section(s) that they are travelling. Always check with the local agencies for specific requirements and conditions.
Forest Service Passes & Permits
Passes such as the America the Beautiful pass are available through the Forest Service.
Bureau of Land Management
The BLM partners to maintain the Arizona Trail for hikers, bikers, and riders
National Park Service
The NPS protect treasures and natural wonders across the Arizona Scenic Trail.
Arizona State Land Department
The Arizona Trail crosses Arizona State Trust lands, managed by the State Land Department for public use.

The ATA provides comprehensive information on passes required by all AZNST land management agencies.
