The Nez Perce (Nimíipuu or Nee-Me-Poo) National Historic Trail stretches from Wallowa Lake, Oregon, to the Bear Paw Battlefield near Chinook, Montana. It passes through Traditional Nez Perce Tribe Homelands, the Nez Perce, Colville, and Umatilla Reservations, numerous National Forests, Yellowstone National Park, lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and US Fish and Wildlife Service, and private lands.
