• Fire Restrictions: Moderate (Angeles National Forest)

  Fire Danger Level: MODERATE (as of 3/22/23)
  
  This means:

  • You can build, maintain, attend, or use a fire, campfire, or stove fire in campgrounds, picnic areas, & day-use areas only.
  • A California (CA) Campfire Permit is required & is only valid where fire restrictions allow.
  • With a CA Campfire Permit, you may use portable lanterns or stoves using gas, jellied petroleum, or pressurized liquid fuel.
  • Welding or operating an acetylene or other torch with an open flame is prohibited.
  • Discharging a firearm, air rifle, or gas gun is only allowed at A Place to Shoot (Saugus) and Burro Canyon Shooting Park (Azusa).
  • Operating or using any internal/external combustion engine without a U.S. Forest Service-approved spark arresting device properly installed, maintained, and in effective working order is prohibited.
