• Closure - Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon Fire Closure

  April 30, 2022 – The Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) issued a closure order for all National Forest System lands, roads and trails located within the boundaries of the Pecos/Las Vegas Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest, as depicted on Exhibit A to protect public health and safety due to extreme fire danger in the Restricted Area.

  The closure order is in effect from 6 a.m. April 30 until December 31, 2022, or until rescinded. Review the closure order and Exhibit A map.
