The Marienville Ranger District is on the southern half of the forest. The town of Marienville is located on PA State Highway 66, and the district office is about 2 miles northeast of town on PA State Highway 66. The Marienville Ranger Station is located in Forest County, approximately 28 miles from Clarion, and 105 miles from Pittsburgh.
