Forest Land and Resource Management Plan
The "Land and Resource Management Plan" (LRMP) will guide the management of the Allegheny National Forest for the next 10 to 15 years. The "Final Environmental Impact Statement" (FEIS) documents the analysis and effects that were a basis for the selection of the final alternative used for the LRMP. The FEIS summary presents this information in abbreviated form and the appendices to the FEIS include additional analysis information.
The documents total almost 2,000 pages in length. The FEIS, LRMP and appendix G are liberally bookmarked for ease of navigation. To use bookmarks, click on the bookmarks tab on the left side of the document window, then click on the area you wish to see. This allows viewing and navigation within the document without printing.
These documents tend to be very large (i.e. Appendix A is 30 MB, the plan is 14 MB).
