Christmas Tree Permits

2021 Christmas Tree Tags Now Available for Purchase Through Recreation.gov

To enhance public employee safety during COVID-19 pandemic, we will offer several different methods for obtaining Christmas Tree Tags. You may purchase your tags through the Recreation.gov website (which includes a processing fee), your local participating vendors or your local  Ranger District Offices.  Tags are available now on Recreation.gov, Ranger Districts will begin selling permits over the phone and through the mail soon. Please contact your local office or vendor if you plan on purchasing on site prior to making the trip.  

Ranger District Office payment options are available using a credit or debit card, check, or money order.  Cash payments are not available for phone or mail-in options.  When paying with a debit or credit card the permit will be mailed to you the following business day.  Please plan ahead, allowing time to receive your permit by mail prior to collecting forest products. Other options may be available such as curbside pickup at some Ranger District Offices.

Christmas Tree permits can also be obtained over the phone by calling Ranger District Offices and by visiting participating vendors.

 

While Traveling to cut your Christmas Tree please follow the Motorized Vehicle Use Maps (available at district offices).
