 The roads to Reds Meadow, Devils Postpile, Agnew Meadows and SR 203 at Mammoth Mountain Inn are closed for the winter, Lakes Basin Road and Old Mammoth Road to Lakes Basin are closed for the winter. May 1st - November 1st is quota season for wilderness permits on the Inyo National Forest.  Permits are required for all overnight wilderness travel, even in winter.  Permit reservations can be made on www.recreation.gov
