Rules and tips:
- When parking near a road closure do not park on the roadway, do not block the gate or other cars.
- For winter travel you are required to carry chains.
- It is a good practice to have some sand (for traction) and a shovel in case you need to dig your car out.
- To prevent damage to roadways do not drive on dirt roads that are covered with snow, or have deep mud.
- Do not drive around road obstacles such as mud puddles and crush vegetation, this will widen the road and cause erosion.
