The forest has a variety of maps available to aid visitors. To get more information on a particular map or to download an electronic version of an available map select the Feature or Spotlight below for the map you are looking for.
Motor vehicle use maps (MVUM's) are available to all visitors free of charge to show where visitors can legally drive their motorized vehicles - select Motor Vehicle Use Maps.
Visitor maps are available at offices for a nominal fee to assist visitors in locating recreation sites, and should be used in conjunction with MVUM's - select Visitor Maps.
Wildlife habitat maps are available to show various stages of habitat across the forest - Select wildlife maps.
Recreation publications and maps are available for visitors recreating in specific areas of the forest - select Forest Publications and Recreation Maps.
Firewood Maps are located in the Forest Products Permits section of the website.

The MVUM is a black and white map with no topographic features. It is a map for legal designations of where you can travel with various motorized vehicles. This map is free.
As a visitor to the National Forest, you are asked to follow certain rules designed to protect the Forest, natural resources and to provide for public safety of visitors.
