Ben Rover Cabin

Ben Rover cabin is located 35 miles north of Columbia Falls, MT on the North Fork Road near Polebridge. Most of the year the cabin is accessible by driving. The water source is a well. Ben Rover cabin sits in the Whitefish Range of the Rocky Mountains. Ben Rover has rustic accommodations including propane cook stove, lights, heater, wood stove, well water, and vault toilet. Ben Rover's party size is eight with two double beds, one bunk bed, and two twin beds. Please pack out what you brought including your garbage. Grizzly bears live in the area; store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage inside the cabin. Pets are not allowed at Ben Rover. Commercial use of the cabin is prohibited (outfitter guides, groups or organizations with compensated leaders/chaperones).

Directions

Ben Rover Cabin is located 35 miles north of Columbia Falls, MT on the North Fork Road (County Road #486). To find the North Fork Road take Nucleus Avenue north through Columbia Falls, turn east on Railroad Street at the stop sign, this becomes the North Fork Road as it travels over the railroad overpass. At mile 35 on the North Fork Road turn east one mile following signs to the town of Polebridge. Turn left (north) to Ben Rover Cabin which is 1/2 mile from Polebridge on your right. If you cross into Glacier National Park, you have gone too far. The North Fork Road is gravel, intermittently plowed during the winter, 4 wheel drive and chains are recommended during the winter, see map.
