Slate Point Lookout was constructed in 1948. It is a staffed lookout during the summer months.

Directions
From State Highway 95 just north of Slate Creek Ranger Station, turn right on Slate Creek Road 354. Turn right on Road 441. Follow Road 441 to junction with 441A. Hiking the 1 mile to the lookout is recommended due to the condition of the road.
