This wonderful loop that takes you through riparian areas to rocky slopes and back again all within Cloud Peak Wilderness. Sherd Lake is one of many in the area. Accessed via Circle Park Trailhead.

Directions
This trail begins at Circle Park Trailhead and makes a 7.8 miles horseshoe shape and ends at Forest System Road (FSR) 382 (Trigger Lake access area) south of Circle Park. A loop can be made back to Circle Park Trailhead via South Fork Ponds Trail #095.
