Roubaix Lake Campground
Surrounded by Ponderosa Pine
Roubaix Campground is tucked away in a Ponderosa pine forest, with Roubaix Lake nearby for added scenery and recreation. With a popular swim beach and opportunities for non-motorized boating and paddling, this campground is a hidden gem in the Northern Hills Ranger District. Its campsites are dispersed among four loops, and many sites offer beautiful lake views. The sites are also spaced far enough apart for privacy. At an elevation of 5,500 feet, this campground often remains comfortable on hot summer days and routinely provides cool evenings - perfect for sleeping. As one might expect, this campground makes for a great base camp near Hwy 385, which offers easy access to even more activities and attractions in any direction.
NOTE: Roubaix Campground is located next to Roubaix Day-Use Area for interested recreationalists, visitors, and local outdoor enthusiasts. Campers do not need to pay the additional fee for the day-use area. However, those that are not camping are required to pay the day-use fee for the picnic area, swim beach, and related day-use amenities.
